14th Annual Rochester International Children’s Film Festival

The Rochester International Children’s Film Festival, founded in 2006, showcases free films in neighborhood settings.

This year’s festival runs April 1-30, 2019. To get a taste of what our festival is like, check out last year's Films and Schedule pages!

Every year, the Festival screens free films for over 1,500 children and 500 adults in handicapped-accessible venues in the greater Rochester area, including all ten city branch libraries in the Rochester Public Library system and several suburban/greater Rochester libraries including Brighton, Brockport, Fairport, Mendon, Penfield and Webster, with follow-up art & media literacy activities.


The Rochester International Children’s Film Festival proudly accepts entries via, an online submission platform.
